What can I do as a member?
As a member, i.e. a registered user, you can contact other members and start trading your sheet collection. In order to show them what you have, you can submit your sheet collection and also the request sheets you couldn't find in the PianoFiles database.
Share your sheet collection
- Submit a sheet: There are 2 ways to submit the sheet music you have: (i) by searching or browsing for the sheet title and clicking on the + sign to the right or (ii) directly. You can't upload the actual file to PianoFiles, just the sheet title and some other information about it.
- Request a sheet: You can add requests on your profile page for sheet music you didn't find on PianoFiles. This way other users will see what you are looking for and if you are lucky, they might send you your request.
- Export your collection: You can export your sheet collection to a nice pdf which you can print out. You can export it to a csv file as well.
Connect with other members
- Contact: Find contact information for each member on their user profile. You can change your contact information as well by editing your profile settings.
- Friends: You can add each user to your friends list. This will be very convenient when you are looking for a sheet because you friends will be highlighted with the friends icon
. - Find members: You can find members by their name or email address using the link 'find members' on your profile page.
- IM: You may fill in the instant messengers you are using such as skype, gtalk, msn, ... which makes it easier to contact you.
- Personal: You are able to tell other members what country you live in and specify the languages you speak.
