Maria Muldaur (Born Maria Garzia Rosa Domenica D'Amato, on September 12, 1943, in Greenwich Village, New York) is a roots-folk singer best known for her 1974 Top Ten hit, "Midnight at the Oasis." Later that year she hit the Top 40 again with a rocking version of "I'm a Woman."

Later in the 1960s her distinctive vocals were heard in many of the tracks recorded by Jim Kweskin and the Jug Band. Later in her career, as her voice deepened, the blues was featured in more of her recordings. A vivacious performer, she continues to please small, enthusiastic crowds in her concert tours.
