Shiro Sagisu (鷺巣 詩郎, Sagisu Shirō) (born August 29, 1957) is a well-known Japanese music producer, composer, arranger and conductor. With a career spanning over 25 years (beginning in the late 1970s), he is best known primarily as a record producer (for acts like Misia, Satoshi Tomiie, and Ken Hirai, among others).
Sagisu has also worked as a film composer for several animes and films, being best known for his collaborations with Gainax—in particular, the soundtrack to Hideaki Anno's series Neon Genesis Evangelion. Read more
