He started his career in the Pop/AC field with his Middle of the road single "Bluer Than Blue" in '78, which hit #12 and probably his most remembered song. . 2 more top 40 singles followed in '78 & '79. By 1982 his Pop/AC career had fizzled.
Read more In early 1986 he teamed up with Sylvia and hit #9 on the Country Charts with "I Love You By Heart", thus making his entry into the country arena where he had 7 more Top 40 Country Songs, 5 made the Top Ten including 2 #1 Country Singles, '86 "Give Me Wings" and in '87 "The Moon Is Still Over Her Shoulder". By the late 80's he disappeared off the charts.
