After Syndrome disbanded, Asagi, Ruiza and Sin decided to pursue their own project, and with the addition of Rena (bassist; formerly of Persona) and Hiroki (drummer; formerly of Aioria and S to M), the line-up was completed and D was born.

Sin left the band in 2003 and was replaced by Hide-Zou (guitarist; formerly of Lapis Lazuli,Clair De Lune (2), As'REAL, S to M).

When Rena left in 2005, D was lucky to have Hide-Zou who was able to play the bass till a replacement could be found. In December of that year they found a replacement, Tsunehito (bassist; formerly of GIVUSS, SCISSOR).

In 2006 Ruiza released a solo mini-album, amenity gain. ASAGI soon followed with his own solo single entitled "Corvinus".

In December 2007, D announced at their Christmas Eve show that they were signed to a major music label. Their major debut single "BIRTH" was released on the Avex Trax label on May 7, 2008 in three versions. Their single "闇の国のアリス" (Yami no Kuni no Alice), another three-version delivery released on September 3, 2008, was featured in an upcoming movie in Japan, Twilight Syndrome ~Dead Go Round~.

In 2009 D started the year off with releasing their 3rd major single "Snow White" on January 21, 2009. Their debut major label full album Genetic World was released February 25, 2009.

D produced the alternative rock and visual kei magazine called Mad Tea Party Magazine and is currently featured on the Radio show Night Radio“D” plus the TV program テレ玉「D 薔薇の館」 (Terabi "D bara no yakata" ~ TeleBall "D Rose Mansion")

2. Italian keyboardist/producer Enzo Pannozzo.

Worked with several artists as well as his own material throughout the late '80s and early '90s, taking part in many different musical projects. Taking a stronger role as a producer in the mid-'90s, his work with Futility and Trans Love Express led to his next project, 2002's D-Genre. Utilizing drum'n'bass, ambient techno, and jazz house to fuel his ambitions, he also drafted French vocalist Lillia Auzou and Australian funk diva Kylie Auldist, among others, to accent the recordings. Released in the summer of 2002, the debut album was titled Leisure Play. ~ Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide
